UAP Hearing - September 9, 2025
Heading into today’s UAP hearing in Congress, I’ll be honest — my expectations were low. I’d already read all the whistleblower testimony the night before, and it left me feeling deflated. Not because I don’t believe what they’re saying, but because I knew what we weren’t going to get: direct, firsthand testimony from people who’ve worked in the so-called "Legacy Programs" — people who’ve actually touched crash debris or seen non-human entities (NHIs), dead or alive.
These people exist. But they’re still too terrified to come forward.
Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, who chaired today’s hearing, has been candid about her frustration. She’s been working hard behind the scenes to get those witnesses to speak publicly — and just revealed that David Grusch, the headline-making whistleblower from July 2023, was recently confronted by an armed assailant. That incident is now under FBI investigation.
So when I looked at the witness list this morning, I thought: Same old stuff. More stories about sightings — as if we don’t already have mountains of those. And George Knapp, the long-time investigative journalist, was listed as a "witness"? I’ve heard all his stories over the years. I was ready to tune out.
I was wrong.

- Bipartisan Unity: Once again, both sides of the aisle showed up serious and informed. That alone is a breath of fresh air in today’s political climate.
- Leaked UAP Combat Footage: A mind-blowing, newly leaked military video showed a UAP being targeted by a Hellfire missile — only for the missile to bounce off and disintegrate. The UAP? Unfazed. See video below.
- Informed Questions: For the first time, the Representatives weren’t clueless. They asked sharp, informed questions. They didn’t look lost — they looked like they got it.
- Whistleblower Testimony: Two military witnesses (one still active duty) described jaw-dropping encounters: tic-tac shaped UAPs, craft emerging from the ocean, and a football-field-sized triangular object. These weren’t vague lights in the sky. These were close-range, high-definition, no-room-for-error experiences.
- Enter Dylan Borland: A new name with a powerful story. Borland, an intelligence analyst from the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, recounted seeing a massive triangular UAP — and revealed his knowledge of crash retrieval operations. As he tried to go public, he was harassed, lost his clearance, and was professionally blackballed. Borland also felt that what he observed may have been a manmade UAP. There are many others who have stated that a specific manmade UAP, designated as the TR-3B, is triangular and has three red or coloured lights at the vertices with a brighter white light at the centre. This is what Borland saw and it also caused his electronics to malfunction with static electricity in the air.
- George Knapp Delivers: Knapp surprised me. He shared how early military documents (pre-1967, before FOIA existed) spoke openly about UFOs. After FOIA? A total blackout. That contrast — open then, secret now — is telling. He also described his 1990s trips to post-Soviet Russia, where he obtained direct evidence of Russia’s own crash retrieval efforts. Unlike the U.S., Russia didn't compartmentalize — they brought their best minds together. Similar to the US the Russians experienced a UFO around a missile site when the nuclear launch codes were started spontaneously, panic ensued because there is no way to abort the launch when the protocol is correctly started. The UFO left just before the missile launch and the system turned off. The difference with the US experience is that instead of initiating the launch sequence the UFOs turned off all power to the US missiles only. Knapp has now turned these documents over to Congress.
- Whistleblower Protection Takes Center Stage: A big theme was how whistleblowers are being threatened, punished, or silenced. Lawmakers are visibly angry — and they’re naming names. Dr. Sean Kirkpatrick, former head of AARO (the Pentagon’s UAP office), was outright called a liar. He should expect a subpoena.
- The Media Is Finally Waking Up: At the time of writing, outlets like Fox, CBS, BBC, CNBC, and even USA Today are covering the hearing. CNN hasn’t — yet — but given the competition, they might have no choice. If they do, watch for the usual ridicule. But even that would be progress.
